I’ve posted more Italian paperwork in the past ten years than every collector combined. Can you say that?Bill DeShivs wrote:I don't appreciate being called a liar.
What we need is good solid evidence and documentation-which you say you have. Produce it, and stop the attacks.
I would love to see it.
You may have it, but I think if you actually did you would have already posted it, due to your incessant need to be "right."

Re: The Infamous Black Beauty
As I have said many times-
MY OBSERVATIONS ARE JUST THAT. I HAVE SEEN THOUSANDS OF KNIVES FROM THE INSIDE OUT.
I have been collecting them and repairing them since long before you were born. That doesn't make me right, but it makes my observations valid.
There is my info. If you want to dispute it, by all means do so. You are a good researcher. Show us. I'm all for getting correct information.

Seeing terrible interest pictures doesn’t prove in any way shape or form which company made a knife. Doesn’t matter how many you’ve seen. There were hundreds of makers in Maniago.Bill DeShivs wrote:As I have said many times-

You make false claims (lies) then make deflecting answers when pinned down for an honest answer.Bill DeShivs wrote:Nor does that make you correct.

Re: The Infamous Black Beauty
This seems easily solved ... Orangeboy, let’s see the “old paper work that could show... “orangeboy wrote:There is zero evidence that these were made by Mauro Mario. It’s like one person said that and then it got repeated over and over.
There were several companies selling stilettos via mail order in the old men’s magazines. If someone got a Mairo Mario in the mail- it’s certainlly possible they didn’t order their knife from Florida Imports. They could have ordered from any of these companies.
I have some old paperwork that could show the Black Beautys were not made by Mauro Mario but another maker.
People who don’t have a lot of knowledge in this hobby just say Mario Mario when they dont really know who made a certain knife.
That is where you threw down the gauntlet...

Orangboy won't be around for a week.
Perhaps he'll cool off by then. If he doesn't, he won't be "proving" anything else here.
