Looks like a fancy "G", but I'm sure a photo of the entire knife would help.

Don't ya just hate it when you see a 'tang' stamp that is so whimsical that it only appeals to the maker; himself and will never be acredited to them in the future? I have several well made customs that exhibit this issue..
