I always think it's a nice bonus when designs in the horn scales appear as if deliberately created to complement other aspects of the knife. This piece has those great "bow tie" patches that bracket the release button -- what a terrific look! I bet the craftsman who made this got a kick out of it..... I'm sure he would be pleased to know that decades later, his artistry is in the hands of somebody who really appreciates what he did.

To me, an 11 in picklock in great original condition is the classic example of a switchblade. Thanks for sharing.
