Arizona Custom Knives seems to accept what the customer/consigner says about the maker of the knives they offer for sale. There are several knives listed today as stiletto's made by AKC that from the pictures are pretty clearly Chinese counterfeits. The asking price, $105 is high for Chinese counterfeits. Heck it's a little high for a recently made 9" Italian stiletto, ones without fancy scales.

Noted where each one states "tuned and polished by Greg's Effects and has a COA." What was "tuned" and what was "polished?" What authenticity is being certified? SMH.

I stopped buying from then 3knives a long time ago.

If you don't mind me asking, why not? I just ordered from them a few days ago and have placed orders with them for a few years. Other than the prices skyrocketing up, they have always given me great service.

The specs claim the scales are EBONY?! Hah! No.
Ebony is extremely expensive. If pressed, the manufacturer would probably claim "that's just descriptive of the color".

The scales are either a cheap wood that's been stained
a darker color, or some synthetic substance.

Snap seems a little weak but they are good looking knives.
