Resizing photos to upload

Okay, I figured it out !!
This is for the Samsung Galaxy S24 --

1. Select photo in your gallery
2. Click on the pencil icon
3. Click on 'more' (3 vertical dots / upper right corner)
4. Click on "resize"
5. Click on " 40% " (or whatever size you want)
6. Click on "done"
7. Click on 'more' again
8. Click on "save copy" -- this preserves the original picture and adds the resized picture to your gallery

Now I'm going to try posting some Toledo souvenir knife pix and see what happens.... hope these directions will be of use to others !
