SOLD FIRST $150 ppff work great
Anyone have any info on this Solingen maker "OREIGN" AND "O" stamped on the reverse.
My buddy has suggested "OREIGN" is a incomplete "FOREIGN" stanmping marking for export. But I can't find anything about "O"

Robert Klaas, or possibly Olbertz.
Made for England or Canada.
Not sure if Klaas actually made thes knives, or if they were made for Klaas by Olbertz. My bet is the latter.

.
As for the 'O' on the reverse, possibly part of 'INOX' with
the other letters lightly struck and/or worn away....?

Re: Old Springer I D
From the condition of the blade I doubt the O was part of INOX. It appears to have a blade made of carbon type steel. Some patina or damage from rust
Re: Old Springer I D
The "O" has been identified as "OLBERTZ" and the oreign "FOREIGN" designates for Export Sales. A very unusual example.

I don't know that the "O" stands for Olbertz. It may, but I have a bunch of Klaas autos and a couple of Olbertz autos.
None of the blades have an "O" on them.
I do know that Olbertz has been an OEM for many different brands. I have some evidence they made the Klaas lever locks, but "some" evidence is not conclusive. I do know that Klaas outsourced their later autos to Massaro in Italy, and I do know Klaas acquired the assets of Bonsa when they closed. Klaas sold the Bonsa brand knives that they assembled (or maybe had assembled.)
