Eye Candy
Thought I would share this here as I really love the Tarry levigne french knives ,but it was the box with it that caught my eye , I had never seen one before .
It isn't my knife but I was following it on an auction and I just love it's style and the cool graphics on the packaging .
I have seen French knives in their original boxes but never this one .
Hope others can post some of their knives with packaging if they can .
Hope everyone is well .

Re: Eye Candy
I allways thought they were manufactured in Italy and Terry Lavigne was just a French retailer?
Re: Eye Candy
Yes the.italian style switchblades definitely were Erik ,and Tarry Levigne added his mark .
Dont know about this style of knife though ,looks very French in appearance ,someone will know and tell us hopefully .

It looks like a side opener to me. Never seen an OTF with a back spring
Re: Eye Candy

Ian,
Thanks for sharing. I am SO glad that you are okay. I am working with an elite Armed Security Service vendor, and have been since January 8th. (I'm in the Sales division).
That's SUCH a cool blade! A simple BO/BC side-opening knife with great panache!
I LOVE IT!

Very nice !!! I agree French knife.
Re: Eye Candy
It’s not a BO/BC side opener. It is a French made single action OTF. To close you hold with the tip up and press the button and the blade will fall about 70% closed, and there is a very small tab on the side that is pulled down to set the blade. In my opinion these are the coolest vintage OTF’s.Fishtail Picklock wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2024 8:27 pm Ian,

For the record, I am now the overly proud owner of the knife, and more importantly the box.
