That is an italian leverlock possibly massaro .
They came in many scale materials ,both mine have faux stag plastic scales and stainless bolsters .
I like the brass and rosewood look .These are good solid knives.

Thanks guys, as informative as ever
Re: Leverlock ID please
The bright work looks Gold in the pix, if correct might be a Linder from China

XBMX could be correct with his Lindner identification .
Your knife has the same 2 pins in the bottom bolster as the picture he showed ,,cant make out the writimg on blade from the picture you posted , but assumed if it was marked Linder you would have told us ,
I have seen them in wood and brass from italy but as you see on my 2 there is only one spring pin in the bottom bolster.
They are both marked rostfrei .
Sorry if its the wrong ID

Re: Leverlock ID please
Here’s one of my GOM lever locks. It has only one visible pin on the bottom bolster. I can’t say who made your knife, but it look awesome!

I'm a little confused here, can anyone give me a definitive answer on this?

Re: Leverlock ID please
Earlier Massaro lever locks had a removable kickspring. That's what the second rear bolster pin is for.
Your knife dates from around 2000. It's Italian.

China always copies never original. Massaro is obvious what was copped.

What is the blade steel on this piece Bill, also do these make for a robust every day carry pocket knife?Bill DeShivs wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 12:03 am Earlier Massaro lever locks had a removable kickspring. That's what the second rear bolster pin is for.

Re: Leverlock ID please
They are probably 420, but the blade grind makes them excellent carry/use knives.
