Here's a not-very-good picture of my Schrade Fire and Ice collection:

Lovely collection Craig
Really like that white pearlex or is it real pearl ?
But to be honest I would be happy with any in that display case.
Thanks for sharing them.

Thx Gravknife! (you too John)
I'm really not sure if it's pearlex or real pearl? Is there an easy way to tell the difference? I just took another look and the color has changed since that picture was taken (it's now a more whitish-light-yellow creamy appearance, which probably means it's pearlex?).
The various handle materials used in the collection are beautiful. I had another red-handled Schrade that might have been a prototype but I gave it to my brother-in-law years ago and now he can't remember ever receiving it.
My wife has been ill for a long time and can't remember what she did with the original boxes. I've looked but haven't found them yet--hopefully I'll run across them one day. I may reach out to Great Eastern Cutlery or Schrade to see if they might have some unused boxes hanging around!
Take care,
Craig

Does anyone know if there was a camel bone scaled knife?
Pearlex looks like plastic. Slabs of genuine mop are hard to describe kind vvb of like glass and polished stone.
PM Bob on SharperDeals he’ll know.

Craig ,John
I was referring to the 4th from right ,was on my phone and couldn't tell.
The one you pointed out is definitely some type of bone, probably Camel ,can't see it being ivory these days.
More I look at these they are really fine knives.

It’s made, without a doubt,with acrylic scales.

Not the actual prototypes in red bone most talk about. I think those are all one of a kinds when they were first deciding on the production design. Notice the different levers.
So Gloria ended up with most of them? I have often wondered....Divorces suck. I was hoping Bob could hang on to those.
Thanks for the pics, Allen. I tried to find some of them a few months back but failed.

I can't remember if I took that picture in 2016 but I think so. I know they're long gone. These were priced quite a bit more than the production models so I passed.
I'm doing well Ian, hope you are also.

Searched my pictures and that one was taken in 2016. Apparently many passed as these were available in 2017.

Those were very well made knives.
I only have one, but wish I had bought more when they were available.
