Re: Inside a broken Rizzuto
fairly common problem, I believe zinc or some other questionable metal was used for those and they don't hold up well, I've got one with the exact same problem.

You can't solder/glue/weld it.
You have to make a new sear lever.

Hi guys I should have introduced myself, my name is Matt CUCCHIARA I’m a custom knifemaker if I fix it I’ll make one from titanium. I just left CA for good but still in limbo until I find a house and can set up my shop staying with family in NM on the way to TX. Might just sell my two broken knives for parts. I prefer the Italian jap Rizzy

Re: Inside a broken Rizzuto
.
In July 2018 (before I even joined this site) I bought a handful of parts for a busted 11" Rizzuto for $10 at the flea.
Only one liner is good; the button system is gone; and the front scale is cracked; but I figured the blade and the
spring assembly must be worth at least ten bucks. All nice and clean. Might be material for a trade at some point.

So Rizzy's got D stamped liners? I always thougt that that was an old picklock trait.
