I would like to learn more about the Hubertus lever lock knife. I found a tang stamp ID chart for Boker that went back 140 years on line. It identified all of the tang stamps and etchings with a year of use range. I would like one for the Hubertus line too. Does anyone have this type of information they could share?
Also, what is the history for nail nicks on Hubertus lever locks? Was the use intermittent? Is it domestic versus export? It seems some newer knives come without them when previous versions had them. I thought once it started it would not stop.
Thanks to all who respond.
