Hi Folks:
Is there a way to identify the likely maker of this 11" swivel bolster with the tang marked "Stiletto Italy"? I saw a thread here on "INOX & identification" that also had some comments regarding ROSTFREI stamps, but not "Stiletto Italy". The knife has the look and feel of some of my Frank Beltrame pieces and I think the scale is ebony. Lastly, I think the blade is either a flat grind or swedge. What is the difference? Thanks.
Identification of 11" modern stiletto?

I would call it a swedge because of the ground part on the dull side tip end. Flat grind don't have that.
As far as exactly who assembled it, I have no idea. I think when that one was put together there was more of a "cottge industry" where the Maniago makers all worked together.

To my knowledge, F. Beltrame makes most-if not all, of the 11s.
