I like it. Is there a name for both ears going down?

Thank you Thom! I THINK it's referred to as "Sparrow's Wings"? But, not positive. I was attracted to this piece with it's "wasp" shape, steel liners and pins. Decent horn. Thought the lack of no top pins was interesting, and of course, the PATENT over No 460 on back. Thanks for looking Thom!

That's a "derby guard" and a "wasp" body, "transitional" blade. From the mid-1960s, I believe. Lovely horn!

Owww...waspy. I like it!

I've also seen those referred to as "pagoda" bolsters, "derby" being reserved for short bolsters, but YMMV.

Thanks Rick. I HAD thought I'd heard the term "Sparrow's Wings" before, but, according to this (courtesy of PortlandMike) it refers to them as "Swallow's Wings". But....?
