Re: Whats the skinny on these levers....
I would say most definitely made in china or thereabouts...just from looking around on their site. Like if you look at the "benchmark" bali...it says "BENCHMADE"...knives...then goes back to benchmark...
While i am not an expert on italians...i can't see any other type of knife on those sites that is legit.

LEVERLETTO knockoffs. Definitely NOT AKC - Mos' likely Chinese, but I will let the designer confirm that...

Hold on, Mr. Photo! Don't do anything hasty.Photofreestyle wrote:" They are not cheap knock offs. Milano made steel blades by AKC."
That's what is throwing me off....AKC blades in knockoffs? I dont even know if the AKC marking is a legit one, or a fake too!
I might pull the trigger on one, and see if their junk or not...
I'm sure Mr. BDS will be along shortly and give you a definitive answer...

They are blatant Chinese counterfeits.

Actually, I supported no-one, I cancelled my order 15 minutes after I placed it....and I am sorry I did not realize they were "blatant Chinese counterfeits".... why I asked...

Thank you!
I really can't complain about them copying the design, but using my name or AKC's name is criminal.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery....until it becomes a profit on the grounds of claiming it is authentic.
Bill even if China sells a thousand of these pieces of crap,a thousand more of your design will be bought by those of in the know.
I don't own any vintage Italian or German knives but my large custom Leverletto is one of my prize possessions and I am proud to show it off.
Mine has brown(root beer some call it) pickbone,a nickle bail and not sure if this is a compliment but I compare it's snap to my German Weidmannsheil.
They both have that sharp metallic "clink" when fired.
Fact is I think the Leverletto has more of a German personality than Italian. No offense to either.
