Those balis are great, how do you do so much with files? They must take
a long time to shape or cut?

Thank you for the warm welcome.
To answer at tje jimmyjo question, it's really simple, i I destroyed the hardening with blow torch, i heat the steel around 500-700 ° C . After that it's simply an XC90 or XC120 or 1095 steel and you can work on it without any problèm. I work after that with file and some other little tool. You can discovered the way i work with the tutorial at the beguin of the post :D.

Thanks for the info cardoso5fr, I wasn't able to follow your link. Do you heat treat the knives when you finish? I have always wanted to make a
bali. I have made a file knife in the passed but no where as nice as yours.
Thanks

Thank you tpyke, the file mark aren't very long to make because the material is file. I leave only some trace in order to have an visual effect.
:D
