Nobody yet, and it sounds like the initial shipment won't be enough to cover the pre-orders so the people who don't have a pre-order in will probably have to wait a little longer.

i just got my spderfly today!!!! :D:D

i really like it, it has a bit of a diffrent feel than my other balisong's, and i cut my finger within the first minute of playing with it. although i thought they would make the holes at the end of the hanldes a little bigger so one could fit there finger inside and try and invent new tricks that invole spining the knife end over end so to speak.

RWS:

Take the time to lube that SF up. There have been cases of new SF's sticking when flipped causing some nasty cuts.

:o wow is this knife ever sharp , Ive cut myself a total of 6 times on my right hand before i decided to tape up this knif. I have noticed that it is weighted kinda heavy, especialy at the end of the knife where the latch is. which makes it kinda akward when swinging and fliping because that extra weight on the end adds more momentum. all in all it is a nice looking knife just dosent flip the same as my other balisongs. :) :)

I don't really like the S-Fly much.. :(.., but I'm certainly glad to see them in the production market. Great Company....

Just got mine. For the price it is really a pretty cool knife.

It is a bit stiff. I need to lube it and kinda start slowly.

Wish it locked open....

So did I at first.
Then I realized it's really not necessary.
And a matter of safety for the masses, I suppose.
It makes you close and lock it when you're done, instead of having a locked open blade swinging around?
(the above is just my own opinion)

I don't know. Never needed the lock open feature on any bali anyway,
but it would make the design look a little more complete.

I was going to get one of those but the 'no lock open' was what decided it for me. Still considering it though.

Mr 21:

I don't know what to say. When the SF first debuted I simply had to have one, so I got two. Paid more than MSRP on both. Wasn't thrilled and sold them both off since they were hard to get I was able to get my investment back. Since then I received one as a gift and I still don't know if I like it or not. They do filp slow and awkward, however the quality is nice for the now lower market price of around $65-$75. (first time around I paid $125 and $110 for the two I got) However if I had $75 or so to put to another knife I would most likely get another BM or my first Cold steel bali.

Hey Mr SD; When they first came out I was the same way, I was on a witch-hunt to get one. But as I got to thinkin about it and lookin at them, I
began to think the same way, my money would be better spent on a new BM, probably a new 41-SS.
Take Care Mr SD, as always, good talkin to ya.

I couldn't agree more the 41SS is a sweet little swinger. They feel like they are built like a tank. The New blade profile is really nice also.

I also don't feel great about my spiderfly. It doesn't flip all that nice but I
feel it is a good knife to use as a carry knife. But if you want to cut things
with it I'd like it to stay open with a lock. I do feel it is a nice knife, but
it doesn't live up to the hype. I paid 110 when it came out and I
had to have it. Jimmyjo
