Time Bomb

Post by BennytheBlade »

As you all may or may not know, I am a big fan of Brad Duncan.
He is coming out w/ a bali that I think will kick much ASS.
heres his cad drawing of it.

Looks very sweet to me.
Tho this is his first bali, I think it will end up a really high end knife.

BTB.

Is that you with the bid in on the Microtech desertfly over on BA. I was trying to decide if I wanted on but I'm not happy with the combo blade. So I told the old lady to order the plain blade for me for under the tree.
Now I know it's coming and I won't be able to play with it till late December

I put a bid in on a camofly or a desertfly... have to go look to remember

Mr. Bigg-
I havent heard any of the details... Im pretty sure the blade steel will be S30V or something close to it... and the handles will probably be a combo of titanium and/or g10/carbon fiber. I dont know the actual size... but I think the blade will be at least a 4", problably 5

Any word if Brad's going to put his Whiplash bearing system into the pivots? If not, it's a tad pricey for me.

In that case I'll find out first. Since I'll probably see him at the NY Show.

Sorry. Was there only on Sat. and Brad wasn't at his table when I stopped by. Did talk to Allen Elishewitz and Larry Davidson, and both don't think there's enough space in the pivot for the Whiplash bearing system.

Have you seen the finished knife over on Microholics.
It's a great looking knife, but $500.00
