My little presentation and production
Hi everybody, i've just discovered that forum, i know already some name in the place .
I'm a little french guy and a dremeltingpotes member (some guy which play to make knives or customise it with dremel and few tool. ) I also a french knife thrower and sport shooter.
For those which havent see my little game, i have maked some balisong with my little hand.
To begin my balisong production. and the

The last one out of my workshop. (file material for all the structure)
That one is a latchless, blade in file and structural steel handle flood with blow torch
That one is a collaboration with an another guy from bladeforums. OUfti has made the design and i've product the knife
The bali is totaly made in file.
The one before is an simple sandwith balisong totaly in file with a blade inspire by the warren osborne design.
The nano bali a very tiny bali that i've made for a friend amator of very little bali.
A bali make with file for blade and wood rasp for handle.
The bali bellule a little bali with file blade, aluminium handle with bamboo plate.

To answer at tje jimmyjo question, it's really simple, i I destroyed the hardening with blow torch, i heat the steel around 500-700 ° C . After that it's simply an XC90 or XC120 or 1095 steel and you can work on it without any problèm. I work after that with file and some other little tool. You can discovered the way i work with the tutorial at the beguin of the post .

You're nice, my work is only the game and all that knive hasn't really perfect, i had a lot of work before to succeeded to obtain the quality knife that i want arrive to produce each time .
I'corrected the Tutorial PDF link, i don't have see that the code wasn't good sorry for that.
If you want try to make your own bali, there is too the TErry guinn tutorial on EDC. That was my first data base. I can try to help with my little knowledge

Thank you tpyke, the file mark aren't very long to make because the material is file. I leave only some trace in order to have an visual effect.
Merci tpyke, je ne fais pas les traces de limes quoique ce soit faisable. j'utilise en fait les limes en tant que matière première et par conséquent je m'arrange pour laisser une petite surface intacte (quoique polie). C'est bcp plus facile. La lime à métaux donne un aspect brut de décoffrage à la lame et un grip sympatique aux branches.
