liner materials

Bill, can you tell me about what year Hubertus went from steel liners to brass? I'm thinking early 1990's. Thanks Rick

TMK, the only Hubertus autos that had steel liners were the carbon steel bladed ones. In the late 1970s, they used brass.

I'm sure autos could have been ordered with steel liners as a cost-saving measure, but I have never seen them.
