Leveretto Authenticity

Post by XBMX »

Bill - I'm sure you've been asked before but here goes. How does one purchase a "real" Leveretto? Is there any difference between 3 Knives offerings and DHGate's knives. What should the average guy look for? Or should we stay clear entirely?

Anything sold on DHGate is counterfeit.
Anything sold on 3 knives is legitimate.
Yes, there is a "real" difference in the knives.

There is a few post on FB showing what some felt were made in China and they lack the normal tell tale signs. I hope they are not fakes as if they are they have corrected some of the signs of the fakes....

Go to Bill’s website and compare his knife to what you’re planning to buy. Look closely at the blade shape, signature, bolsters, pin placement, etc.

A "real" Leverletto, would have the extra pin (1st generation)
and would be etched by Mrs DeShiv. . . . .

I had two 1st Gens, not etched, my brothers borrowed them, one is beat to death, one is in a far away sock drawer,
I'm hiding my 2nd gen Leverletto.

If it has Microtec on the blade that's a dead giveaway. Saw one once on DHGate.
