Fixing blade peek on Mikov

Post by Tallman »

Bill, I'm trying to fix blade peek on a Mikov that I'm putting scales on. What would be best fix ? Here are some pics. Excuse the finish still a lot of hand sanding and polishing to go. Thanks in advance for any help or comments.

The pivot pin needs to fit all the holes exactly-very tight, and the pivot needs to be peened tightly.
You can also retip the blade slightly.

Are these that prone to exhibit "peeking"? Is it loose tolerances that cause this phenomenon?
