Peening a steel swingaurd pin.

Post by monstro »

Got a 33Cm swinguard the other day, the guards have become a lot more lose than they should be.

Any tips for peening them?

It's proving a lot more difficult than with a brass pin.

Please and thank you :-)

Did your procedure with a small swinger. 2oz. Hammer, taped off bolster just in case. Worked like a charm. Couple of taps and check it. Thanks.
