Polishing plastic jigged scales

Post by rnchesnut »

Without using a buffing wheel is there a paste or compound that can be applied to a drexel or hand buffed to get a high luster finish on plastic jigged scales. Reply by pm or email to rnchesnut1@gmail.com. Any other methods would like to hear about.

You can use Simichrome, Flitz, Mothers or similar polishes on a soft rag.
Use a small amount rubbed into the cloth and polish briskly. You can also use the "shoe shine" method.
Do not use a Dremel-the speed is too fast and will burn the plastic.
