whats in reach

Do you want to talk about your beautiful country, family, or dog? Would you like to say where you went on holiday or how you arranged the garden? Are you willing to tell us you girlfriend left you for a(nother) loser? Do you have ANY non knife-related topic you want to discuss? This is the place!

whats in reach

Post by missaman »

Okay ladies and gentlemen,
From your chair in front of your computer , how many knives can you reach without getting out of your chair?? At arms reach no rolling down the hall, what make and model?? NO cheating!!
In my case one antique mikov folder from mr. nemo, one imperial letter opener folder combo. and one not so crappy piece of crap leverlock.

missaman,

If I lean and stretch as much as I can, and maybe cheat a bit by having my butt leave the chair by a few inches, I could theoretically get to almost all of my collection. However, doing so might result in a display case or two crashing to the floor. I think that you get the general idea.

Hey Mr. Missaman,
I got three Xingwens, one el-cheapo pb stiletto, two vintage 11" non auto stilettos, one godfather clone, one Mikov auto that I've been working on for three months and one box with about 25 non-auto Italian stilettos
of different sizes that I haven't put away yet.

I can reach my firemans axe. You can shave with it and the pike is now a spike. Oh yeah and assorted 11"s Right behind me is a wooden machinest chest that is chalk full of goodies, And I always forget (Lot of good it would do me) I have one of those CRK&T KISS neck knive. I put ball chain on it when I got it wore it about 3 times feeling like an idiot secret agent man. So I wrapped the chain around the back of the chair at hands length away. When I remember it of course. By the way this is all in my computer/family/knife/Dads room. Or command central as I prefer.

I have an order from a supplier [about a dozen] sitting on a "T.V. tray" in front of me along with my beer. If I stand up so I can get in my pockets, another four. In my T-shirt one more. So 17 without moving, from where I'm sitting [other than standing to get into my too tight pants pockets].
Talk about absent minded, right next to the beer a Fer-De-Lance. [To sell, or not to sell, THAT is the question].
