New old Italians
Got a few new oldies:
11 inch Edwin Jay that is as close to "new" as any picklock I've ever seen,
and Latama flatguard. Apologies for the crummy photography. The flatguard actually has the " heart shaped" locktab, but you can't see it in the photo. Enjoy!

Thanks guys and gals,
They are both from my 'ole friend "The Master". I've been in search of the EJ for a while, and this one has been in his personal collection for a long long time. The Flatguard Latama was from the Atlanta show. Now I need an 8 and 7 inch EJ, JUST IN CASE anyone out there with a few spare ones happen to read this :):) I've got a few nice pieces I could trade for the 7 or 8 EJs , Anybody ????

Re: New old Italians
AWESOME. I've held that 11" EJ, and it's a really nice knife. To me the 11" EJ's are equivalent to a 13" Coricama as far as rarity - maybe even rarer actually. I finally picked one up this year myself, and I LOVE it.
Nice job, you've got a REALLY nice collection! Can you post some more??

Here ya' go. I'm not sure if I ever posted it here! This one was bought in 1949 and oiled up and put into a safe and there is sat unused.mr_edge wrote:Snapdagger, very nice aquisitions....I'm envious. Thanks for posting them.
Orangeboy, how's about adding a pic of your EJ. I can never get enough of staring at that one. It's truly the ideal portrait of the italian picklock.
