And an italian...
Dual Action
Make: Frank Potter Specs: Blade Length:3 1/2" OAL:7 3/4"
Model: "Soprano"
Description: From one of the most innovative knifemaker's around, Frank Potter is master of the theme type automatic knives. Frank calls this model the "Soprano" after the HBO crime family "The Soprano's." The design of this knife is patterned after the traditional Italian Stiletto. The beautiful Damascus Bayonet style blade is from Robert Eggerling and is simply incredible. The Damascus bolster's are also by Robert Eggerling. The liners are multicolored anodized Titanium which have been jeweled and fileworked. Titanium backspacer is also fileworked. The scales are Tortoise shell with 24KT Gold underlay's. The auto mechanism is fast & smooth and a classier looking knife would be hard to find.
Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

I've met and talked to him at the Blade Show. He usually sells out before the show starts and just hangs around for three days looking at other makers pieces. Friendly sort and easy to talk to. Does some very elaborate pieces. He had one, that I handled for a few minutes, he was asking $6,000.00 for it.
Beautiful work.
