One of theirs, one of mine
AB Stag Damascus and one I made. [I know, use a tripod, etc. but it was a spur of the moment thing].

Whatever you want, I was going to call it Raptor but I think there was a copyright on that. I was fooling around and that's the results, the steel is to thin for serious use but the design has possibilities.BennytheBlade wrote:Mr. Vagrant-
what do you call your creation-
It looks like it was designed to do a specific task

I got use to your pictures, screw the tripod.
I just take off my reading glasses when you post a picture and its find.
On your knife design, I would patent it pretty quick. You know there are assholes ( meant to say butt holes ) out there ready to make a furtune off someone elses dream.

Love the name but it's WAY too late for patents/copyrights. I made it years ago and saw several like it in the Knives Annual later that year. The style seems to have died quickly. My idea was for a fighter. The old trick of grabbing the blade and pulling on it to disarm the opponent would NOT work with this. The indents for the fingers made for a VERY secure grip, that and the recurve blade would slash to the bone if someone tried to "pull it away". Anyone who wants feel free to make one and post a pic so we can see a good one. For various reasons [including health] I haven't made a knife in several years.mrbigg wrote:mr vagrant - the claudester makes a good point - get it copyright protected ASAP!!
PS: i think you should call it the jawbone

Ah... now I can see a few details...
Yes, anyone who tried to grab that would pull back a bloody stump.
Also, it looks as if the pommel could be used to make someone "reconsider" a decision or two about scrapping w/ the owner of the blade.
I think that would be my submission for Vagrants "Name that Blade" contest

Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.
