A pretty good shot all things considered. Abalone is hard to photograph for an individual piece let alone a group shot. The reflections are all over the place and short of a professional lighting source and set up an uphill battle. You can go through a lot of electrons trying for the perfect shot.

The picture does provide the essential flavor of abalone scaled knives. They do vary in their colors and figuring which is a major attraction. Nice set!

I must agree. I have had and suppose still do have a few abalone and even a nice mother of pearl but that swinger, very nice. If I don't have one of those I certainly ought to aquire one.Viking45 wrote:All are gorgeous but something about that damascus swinger
