As a "first" Italian stiletto I would say you made out like a bandit.
Gorgeous knife.

I am going to go out on a limb and GUESS that the handles are Brazilian Horn. I have a 9 inch Walt's classic in Brazilian horn and it is a beauty also...but it is NOT a 5MM!! :D :D
I will push your buttons--please pass me your switchblades first.

Thanks every one and yes it is Brazilian horn. Unfortunately I had to return this one because it had a crack in the handle. I will be receiving an 11 inch same scale bayo blade soon as a replacement

Hey, lookalot1234, WAY TO GO!!! You have impeccable taste to choose a Walts 5MM for your first Italian knife!!! I think yours is a Brazilian Horn, which is the best in my book! I am sorry that the handle had a crack in it...but I think that you will be just as happy, if not more, with the 11 inch Walts 5MM!! :D :D :D

Thanks Barshoo, The 11" walts classic is Brazilian Horn also. I will post pics when I get it. I can't wait to get the new one. I really love the 5mm Walts Classic. The weight just feels right.

Hey lookalot, beautifull knife,i wish my first was a walt's 5mm.instead it was a nasty cheap taiwan stiletto with flaking paint. anyway, that one you got there,is it sharpened?i have a 9" walt's very similar but its unsharpened.just wondering if it came that way.

Congrats, sure is a beauty for a first Italian stiletto, but it won't be your last. This hobby is very addictive. 8)

Hi again, lookalot! Razor is so right...this hobby is VERY addictive, and you may soon be finding yourself changing your name from lookalot to "buyalot". It eventually hits us all, I kid you not!! My nick name is "Barshoo, queen of blades", because of my knife-addictive spending habit. I am caressing my FB 9" Mammoth Tooth classic by Rick. I have it posted over in another area, but in a few minutes it will be posted in the "Blades" section! :D :D :D
I will push your buttons--please pass me your switchblades first.
