Another Little Italian Lockback

Post by jarvis »

A buddy of mine offered me this one and I couldn't say no. It's dead mint, looks brand new. Cool double-swedge blade. Thanks Tyler!

Howdy Jarvis,
That is a very nice example of an Italian lockback!
Are the scales plastic or horn? These little guys really appeal to me.
Thanks for sharing, partner.

They're horn. I've always liked these knives too. I got lucky and scored two of 'em last week. Not sure when they were made. 60s? 70s? The blade stamp on mine is Rostfrei.

Wow,I love that little number. The top bolsters are just too cool.
Sure wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of those. I really like the double brass pins on the rear bolster.

Is that dark horn or plastic scales? Either way it is still outstanding!

Great blade!

What do you call this particular design? Everything below the top bolster is a Medici but I've been told these do not qualify as Medicis.

Does this model even have a specific name?
