That's really beautiful. Is it time-consuming to make bolsters?

The brass bolsters are incredible. I am usually not much on acrylic scales but these are some of the nicest I have seen.
Square button, swedge blade and file work and a 13 to boot, this thing is a work of art Mr. Dog

I had to wait quite a while to become the recipient of Ron's artwork, but the wait has certainly been worth it. All I've ever done is buy stuff and occasionally fix something when it's broken. It's a real pleasure and a privilege to possess something unique and personal that a craftsman has put himself into. That polyester looked a little iffy in slab form. It was frosted on the surface and didn't show much color at all. I confessed to Ron in an e-mail that it had the potential to be either really cool or look like a dead trout. He found the cool in it. This is my first Straydog custom, but not the last. Damn! A whole new habit to feed. Thanks, Ron.
