Shellpuller Made in Germany
I know it always looks like I'm showing the same knife every post, but I just got this new knife. Bolsters feel like solid n/s but I can't see the liners gap between the bolsters so I don't know if it's plated ( I need a magnet)
blade stamped Made in Germany.
The pullers aren't very defined as some, they look a little blocky and almost unfinished compared to others, but it has a good kick and solid feel.

I think as the USE for the pullers waned, the shell puller style knives remained popular. There was no need to make the pullers actually work.

That is one of the reasons I like them because they have cool unique looking guards. There are just so many different variations of these I stay surprised. But like anything else they seem to follow a pattern of price saving production methods twords later years of their manufacture and many could easily be mistaken for the quality old ones until you look at the fine details, square flatter bolsters are my favorite as later years seem to round even though I like them as well.Bill DeShivs wrote:I think as the USE for the pullers waned, the shell puller style knives remained popular. Re: Shellpuller Made in Germany
Thanks.
Yes, it has very thick n/s bolsters, just less defined than others and different C stamps were used.

Yep, I saw it when it listed Tom. MM has some outstanding creations. He's working on one for me to my favorite specs that I may see soon
