Picked up this mini last September at the flea. The handles look more like bronze than brass, at least to me.
The scales appear to be bone. The blade is carbon steel, with a distinctive Bowie shape.
I haven't seen very many miniature butterfly knives, let alone any that appear to have considerable age.
Does anyone have some idea just how old this might be, and where it was made? Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Below is a Batangas Balisong most likely manufactured in the city of Taal where there are a zillion mom and Pop cutlery makers.
It's the Rambo style blade.

Thanks guys..... it was only five bucks so of course I grabbed it as soon as I saw it.
I don't recall ever seeing one with the "front bolster" terminals having sharp angles
instead of being rounded. Combined with the bronze (I think) metal, the Bowie blade,
and the bone scales, it has enough unusual factors to seem a bit special.
I appreciate the input and once again, Merry Xmas to all ~ ~ ~

I owned one like it years ago. The handles were either ivory or bakelite.
