A couple of small fixed blades

Post by LD57 »

One of the knives I’ve always wanted is the Cold Steel Urban Shiv. Long out of production, the rarely come up for sale, and those at a price I haven’t been willing to pay.
I sent M. Afaaq a pic of the knife and a sketch of a blade shape that was more dagger-y and ground on both sides. 3 1/4 inch blade, 7 1/4 inc OAL. Plus, Damascus.
He made and sent not one, but two versions. The first is Firestorm Damascus, about 3/16 inches thick. The second is San Mai Ladder Damascus, about 1/8 inches thick. File work on both sides. The ball of your thumb fits snuggly in the front hole. 👍 Plus a couple of small leather sheaths.
I added some para cord wrap. They fit perfectly in the front pocket of jeans.
