Catalana Prototypes with side Fulcrum for release

Post by YHWH-NISSI »

Here are some pictures of some Catalana Prototypes with a fulcrum release! These were made by the Campolin family of whom I have the highest respect! There is one with Light Horn and Brass Bolsters about 11 inches and the other 2 are 13 inches with Nickel Silver bolsters and Light Horn and Stag. I hope that you like the pictures!

I like that a LOT more than the standard one :!: Is it a posibility or a project that "didn't work out" ??

Hi Mr. Vagrant,
I believe that they will be going into production, but you know how that stuff goes, only the Campolins know for sure!

Spectacular! Thanks so much for posting them. The fit n' finish on them looks pretty flawless.

Somebody really spent some time selecting just the right scales for these knives. Those stag scales are just perfectly fit for the knife.

One of the coolest newbies I've seen in a long time. If it goes into production, I hope they make a smaller one for EDC. 11 and 13 would be a pocket buster but I'd have to have them as well for " couch snappin" :)

VERY nice, I want several! These look like the ones KnifeShop offered a few years ago. They were antiques that were part of a collction they purchased and sold off. I had a chance to buy some, didn't and have been kicking myself ever since. Oh well. I hope these are put into production soon.

It MIGHT be slightly less useful as a skinner but MORE useful for everything else  8)
