J.Rodgers & Sons Pocket Bowie

Post by kwackster »

A fellow collector's recent addition is this J.Rodgers & Sons pocket bowie.
He visited me today for some knife talk and a cup of coffee, and i just had to take a few snapshots of this old school Sheffield made gem.

8) Truly wonderful knife..

Stag is beautiful ,the patina on the blade ,i like it a lot .

Its a shame there arent as many Sheffield cutlers left now ,their knives were second to none in the 1800s .

Thanks for sharing it Kwackster.
