Ring pull fishtail
Hello to all forum members,
you have encyclopedic knowledge here, maybe you`ll help me with this issue.
Found this ring pull fishtail with heavily destroyed blade. The owner claims its a switchblade, which apparently not. Or am i wrong? Or it can be converted?
I asked him to send a video, waiting for it.
Here are some pictures

Re: Ring pull fishtail
Well, i just got video, and will answer the question: its a very small manual knife.
I suppose its from the 1960s?

Re: Ring pull fishtail
It's a pretty rare 60s switchblade with a broken spring. Could be fixed if you get the knife cheap, could actually be worth something too once we know what that stamp is.

Thanks, there is a problem with the stamp, because the seller told me that it was nearly removed by the previous owner because it has swastika.
I doubt it is true. I think ex owner tried to sharpen it. The blade is in bad condition, here is the photo from another side. Somebody cut it to ease opening with a finger.

Re: Ring pull fishtail
To bad about the blade. The previous owner really butchered it. The nail nick is a mess and it appears the handle was modified for the nail nick. New
New liner, spring and blade could cost more to repair than it’s worth.

Re: Ring pull fishtail
Thanks,
i agree, the knife is selling for 50 bucks, but i doubt i`ll find anybody who can repair it for the reasonable price here in Russia. Especially the spring. I better find another RPK for my collection:)
Re: Ring pull fishtail
Really cool variant. I really wonder why the Italian makers don't revisit some of these designs? I'd buy that, doubt I am the only one.
Make mine an 11" please, dark horn, red dot safety, and bayonet grind too.
Thx!

Re: Ring pull fishtail
Why anyone would want to put something like this on anything made after WW2 is nonsensical. Maybe this was made to accomodate a fringe group who find this stuff exhilarating....
