EIG Italy
I have a fixed blade EIG-Italy with a 4.25" blade, 8.5" overall with a fitted belt sheath made in Germany. However it folds open into a 7.25" blade, 12" overall. I can't find any info on it and am curious as to when made and possible value. Any info would be appreciated.

Re: EIG Italy
You are going to have to post pictures. Sounds like a folding bowie, but the two counties of origin are confusing.

Re: EIG Italy
I believe these knives were made by Lepre in Maniago, Italy. Eig was a US importer.
Apparently, they jobbed the sheaths to a German outfit if yours says it was made in Germany.
This pattern knife was pretty popular and many were sold in Germany, so jobbing the sheaths is likely.
There were many German versions also.
