New chef's knife
The man in the brown suit dropped this off today. Now I have to go shopping and get some supplies to chop up.
Shun 10" Damascus Blade Chef's Knife 15.5" total length. Wouldn't even fit diagonally in my scanner.
Seki City, which is famous as the sword center of Japan, where KAI factories are located, is proud of its over 700 years tradition of cutlery manufacture.
32 layers clad fine Damask Stainless steel and cobalt, Molybdenum, vanadium super steel, with stainless bolster and butt cap. Comes with black laminated pakka wood handle, each coming in their own gift box.
Hahaha, cardboard gift box. I was expection wood!
Chemical description for V-Gold steel:
C: 0.95-1.05
Cr: 14.5-15.3
Mo: 0.90-1.20
V: 0.10-0.30
Co: 1.30-1.50
Damask Steel: SUS 410+Nickel Steel
Bolster and Butt Cap: SUS 416 Stainless Steel
