The Fall trout were stocked this week so I thought I would post here again! The knife is 8" long for size comparasion....

Seems like I am one of the few to post in this section....This week I fished three days...Over 150 fish caught: Trout, Bluegills, Bass, Yellow Perch, Crappies....Knife in pictures is almost 8" open for size compare....

It's gonna take some time to get the fishy smell of your hands after cleaning 150 fish, bit I'm sure it's worth it;

Nice catch. Have not seen any that size in a stock pond in Louisiana. We do have great salt water with a boat. Anyway what bait. Live or lures. Thanks AMDAZ

I just got back from fishing with my son...Lots of bluegills and bass today....I use some lures: Spinners and trout magnets, but mostly live bait: worms, wax worms, dough, corn, crickets, minnows....

What are limits on bluegils+bass in long island?bet atleast 12" on bass.

There use to be no limit of bluegills but it is 15 fish now any size. Bass are catch and release in Nassau and 12" of bigger in Suffolk. I do catch and release for the most park. I keep some trout ( limit three a day any size as they are stocked).

Nice What is fall going to produce in your area fish wise. We will be looking for redfish, drum ,speck.white trout,crockers, ever heard of them?

Yes I have heard of all of them! Fall here is stocked rainbow and brown trout, yellow and white perch, Black Crappie, Bluegills, Large Mouth bass, pickeral, and pumpkin seed sunfish, and some catfish

How is the fishing going. Waiting here for the mornings to cool down. Sept. Is just as hot as in Aug. Here in Louisiana. GET THAT CHEST FULL OK

I hit the lakes several times last few weeks...Lots of fish each time!!! It has been a good season for me!!!!

GOOD Still waiting for the cool down.IN 90's here Wed. End of Sep. hard to believe. Cus. Lives in scaly mt. NC. Said this summer has been hoter then other years. How about in NY. In your area.
