Allow me to introduce myself...ah..ah..ah

Let me start by stating that I first became aware of the world around me at a time when cars had fender skirts, TV was black and white, and women wore nylon stockings. While this puts me a bit "up there", I feel fortunate to have been a lad in the 50's and was able to get a grasp on the general "feel" of the era that produced what has now become the most coveted of classic antiques; the Italian Stiletto.

I have recently finished reading selected topics on this forum, back to front, so as not to ask questions that have already been answered or add any information that's already common knowledge. While I have learned much, I look forward to interacting with the members of this forum to share information, memories, and ideas.

A very warm welcome from this old Brit who also remembers the 50's.. and saw his first Italian stiletto in the film "Twelve Angry Men".. and on one of our TV programmes.. been hooked ever since..

This was way before my time, but wouldn't it belong to that most brave one amongst us who first raised the issue thereby opening himselfness up to ridicule and scorn?
