Hi all ... real name TimE .. but ppl call me Lopakodo ... (Lopa for short ).. I just found out I could get the stlye knifes I loved as a kid in boy scouts..online .. sweeet .. so I recieved my 1st R. Beltrame 13" stag bayo the other day and I love it .. I orderd 2 more 11" F.B. buffalo bayo from "chuck" .. Ive seen his name on a few threads so I'll asume we are talking about the same person.. he seems fairly honest .. and maybe a little pricy .. but Im new.. so I pay the price right? .. but he sells good stuff it seems ..and is good with communication ..
after looking at the abundance of information here.. I can tell I'm gonna like it here .. and I'll hope you all like me ... Im in the midwest USA .. and just getting started .. so all imput is welcome ...
as first question .. I was peeking around and saw a web site from a guy who makes cusom stilleto's .. real cusom ones .. he stated he had stopped making knives for a while, then got board and started making blades again .. one of the posts here took me to his www site .. but I didnt save the link .. now I cant find it .. .. real nice stuff .. lots of filework on the backs and springs inside .. high polish bolsters ... .. he even had one that was taken from the 3rd rib of a monkey bone, then polished to a ultra high sheen by the foreheads of aboriginal natives... had a blade that had some sort of carbide/tungston/polymer infused russian stuff ..I dont know .. ( I'm joking there ppl)..
But I would like the guys www site ...
anyway .. you see I type alot sometimes ... its good to be here.. be patiant while I learn the ropes and lingo ..
Peace.. Lopa
ps.. happy holidays
