NOS 1980’s vintage Edge Co type OTF’s

I have a handful of NOS (New Old Stock) OTF’s that are mint in the box with lanyard clip. The Edge Company sold these tang stamped with their name on the tang. This is the company that actually made them for them under contract. These are stamped “Youth” over “AC-86”. Available in black, blue, and red. each plus $10.20 priority flat rate shipping. So what do you know about the Youth knives? They were the manufacturer? I hadn't heard of them until recently when I picked this one up included in a knife lot.

I’m assuming they are the manufacturer since we know the Edge Company was just an importer. These are the first of this style I’ve seen with anything but the Edge Company stamp.
