Big Ones

Post by natcherly »

First up is a 21 1/2" monster fish made by Giovani Del Tin. The satin blade fires with lots of authority even given the size of the blade. Scaled in Cocobolo with no bolsters, it is marked "SKM Speciale Italy". The pictures give an idea of just how hefty and massive this piece is both in the hand and next to an 18" stiletto. Very few of these were ever made. My article published 8 years ago in the Sharper Deal newsletter featured this piece. $450 SOLD

Next to the above is an 18" flat grind made by the Campolins, who were the only makers of these knives in the early 2000's, and was before they began to put their AGA mark on their knives. Scaled in dark horn with a satin blade, it is one of the hardest firing 18'ers I own. $325 SOLD
