WOW you definetly DO NOT know the condition of my knives , first off the 13" was cleaned but never been apart or repaired the blade is full never sharpened and i DID NOT buy it from Tim ,years after i bought it Tim did contact me and told me that used to be his knife and sent me a picture of it with another 13" steel lined coricama he had , i was told by Tim personally everything about that knife and only thing he said was the handles were rough so thay were cleaned nothing else was done to knife , the 9" was not from ken and is dead mint the blade has never been re-finished lol , the 9" came from guy who found bunch old picklocks in a hardware store that had been stored for decades. not sure why you act like you know everything but o well more power to ya lol
also guy that offered me 5g for 13 and 3500 for 9 is definetly no dumb bell it just means he has bigger pockets then you lol
also 600 for the 11" steel lined thats what you offered ? no wonder he sold it to me and not you i gave him 900 for it lol
Okay, it’s not worth it because all you do it call everyone names who disagrees with you. Not sure why you have to be that way. We’re just taking knives here...
That 9” was not part of the box that was found in an old hardware store. Those were all brass lined.
Tim and Kerwin were notorious for lying about the condition of their knives. They would have them taken apart and sanded down and put back together and then call them mint.
It doesn’t matter. Enjoy them...they are great, they just aren’t mint. They are sanded down and refinished. Many of them were. So it’s no big deal.

Here is the 13” after Tim took it apart and sanded it all
down and buffed it to death. You can see damage and blistering around every pin. A tell tale sign of the it being taken apart.

charlie are you really that mis informed wow , the only pin that is buffed is the backspring pin and that my friend is from buffing , i take it you never buffed a knife so you dont know what a buffed pin looks like or the fact that horn blisters when its buffed if its buffed to long which it probably was anyways knife is in mint shape never been apart .
also since you know it all charlie little history lesson for you here the steel lined coricamas cannot be sanded they are chrome plated bro thought you knew that lol

Fooled by what? You have already stated that the handles were sanded down and the knife buffed? How many have you owned or seen in person? 1? I’ve seen tons. Many friends of mine here in Florida have steel lines Coricamas. We’ve seen dozens and know what authentic or not.
And no, the damage around the pins is from being ripped apart. Tim used to do online lessons about how to take apart picklocks. He did some on Coricamas and a Latama flat guard etc. You have very little knowledge when it comes to what is mint or cleaned to mint because you don’t buy vintage knives. We haven’t seen you buy more than one or two picklocks in about ten years. My friends and I buy hundreds and we can tell from what an amateur like Tim has sanded and buffed and taken apart compared to a 100% untouched knife
So....
And regarding the 9”. It seems you don’t even know the history of that knife since you thought it was part of a hardware store find. And I see you didn’t comment how the blade was sharpened?
