Hi folks, I just got back from my monthly blade show, and was lucky enough to pick up my first 18"-er. I'm real excited about it. It's the Italian stiletto, cocobolo wood, brass bolsters, and a good- straight bayonet blade. The spring is surprisingly quick and strong. The knife, overall is quite sturdy. I'm completely happy with it.
I'm kind of kicking myself for not picking up this beautiful ~24" , one-of-a-kind, butterfly knife from the Philippines. The $225 price tag would have tapped me out, and I decided I needed more time to ponder on it. But now I've made up my mind that I got to pick up that baby next month.
I'll try to get a picture of my collection up soon, in the picture forum.

Thanks all. Yes, I'm still smilling (just like my picture).
Mr Falcon, the shows are held every third Sunday of each month in Oak Lawn, IL ... a suburb of Chicago. It's about a 45min drive for me, but completely worth it. I'm totally in my element there. I'm guessing they set up about 20 tables, but there's so much participation there, one could spend half the day just looking at everything.

Thank you.
Yes, at this show, every month, there are over 1000 automatics (all different types, from $15 on up) available to anyone that walks in the door. There are cop administratrors, cop vendors, & cop patrons. They obviously know whats going on, and have no desire to stop it.

Tis right you are ol' pal, and with our wimpy little Gov blowing his little pink whistle whilst hiding in the girls room.
Best Regard's,
