Mayberry Crime Update: it has bee a while since I provided an update. The reason is that there hasn't been much in the way of entertaining police reports, perhaps due to Winter and/or COVID. With the arrival of warmer weather and COVID seemingly on the run, that will likely change as the wild women of Mayberry get out and about. There were a couple of charges in today's paper that made me chuckle; "Driving After Consuming" and "Dumping"

A girl was charged with Driving After Consuming which is apparently a charge that can be used for those underage that drive after drinking, but don't exceed the legal limit.

Dumping referred to illegal dumping. The one word headline in very large font in the police report section struck me as funny.

There were 3 drunk driving charges cited in today's paper, all women, so maybe that is an indication of future behavior.

“Pretty sure” doesn’t feed the crocodile! Enough Mayberry doo-doo. Does it warp or not (the imitation horn, not the doo-doo)?

Hey greyblade - great to see you post! Hope the relocation to Az is working well.

Regarding imitation horn warpage, the enduring question persists...

Jim - It wouldn’t be much of an “enduring question” if it didn’t persist, right? Tucson, AZ is nice and hot and dry and really okey-dokey if you like cactus. Lots of neat critters here too. My sainted wife and I will be moving back to PA soon. Time to retire and let the grandkids infect us with all the diseases that they pick up at school. Makes COVID seem like the sniffles.

To get on topic, I got a Large Don from Protech a few months ago. It out-Godfathers The Godfather! A truly snappy and intimidating instrument. You should get several for yourself!

Past my second and going into my third childhood,
