Heres a couple of my cheapos ,a little key ring FES otf
Gravknife … that little OTF might be a cheapo, but it has value. About a year ago I found that model in red and sold it for over $120… And I haven’t seen one with the etch on the blade.
Mario, the black peanut on the top right was the first one I dared buy off the internet. I sure miss that dial up internet...lol
And I remember winning an auction for a box of 12 of the black plastic bird head one on the far right. I got the whole box for something like 5 bucks shipped. I gave them to anyone who would take them. They are definately a top 5 crappiest in my book.
You beat me posting a compass one, Mario, but since I already loaded the pics here's a smaller one....

Thanks for letting me know the value of that little FES otf Mike and Terry ...I am shocked but I have always kinda liked it ,and to be honest any switchblade I have is now precious to me ,cheapo or not .
I think some interesting knives have been shown here by all ,and its great to see just what has been out there over the years .
I find myself really wanting one of them lighter otfs now ,you lot are a bad influence on us brits .
Sorry Twobit....I found a mint one in the bottom of the junk drawer. These truely are pretty darn crappy imo.
I still hope you can make something from the ones your working on but wouldn't blame you if you quit.

I'm not planning on quitting, Terry. I need to find an assortment of brass pins. The stainless ones I have available at work are too hard to peen without cracking my scales. I do need to get off my arse and get going on it while I have the space to do it at work. And while I'm not expecting anything like a Bill DeShivs masterpiece, I do expect a better piece than I started with. And if I end up with two, they might be similar in design, but each one will surely be unique in some way.
