Latama MOP 28cm

Mother-of-Pearl 11" from Walt's Latama. Ordered last Sunday and arrived yesterday, incredibly fast delivery. First knife I have ordered from Latama and considering the cost it will be a while before I can afford any more. It's quite nice in my opinion.

Did Latama just start putting their knives in boxes? The ones I bought came in a ziplock bag and a velvet pouch. That's a beauty by the way!

Real Mother of Pearl ? . . . .

DON'T DROP IT . . . . DON'T LET DRUNKEN FRIENDS HOLD IT . . .

I have a few real pearl japan lockbacks ( smokey mountain knifeworks )
and danged me. . .every one has a crack in it.
an they are short knives. . .not a one is bigger than 6 inches open.

As BEAUTIFUL as that iridescent white translucent marine scale is to be seen. . .
it's just way to long and skinny for real pearl and is just waiting to crack.
