Yep, I agree.
You spent a heck of a lot of time on this thread and have been very helpful since you have been here. I nominate you to take my moderator job.

Thank you for the compliment. I appreciate the vote of confidence, but I must decline. Responsibility is something I try to avoid as much as possible .whippersnapper wrote: ↑Thu Feb 22, 2024 9:02 pm Yep, I agree.

I prefer to have a very casual relationship with the internet and the sites I visit. As much as I like this forum, I prefer to remain just another face in the crowd .

We could all call on Biden's face, whip up some drop-cookie dough, and make some "butt cookies"!

Hi guys, I know I sound like a broken record, but can’t thank you enough. You really are so helpful and the way you really seem to enjoy the knives really does remind me of my dad’s excitement when he first started buying them. I’m going to post anything that wasn’t already specifically identified or I have additional questions on 1 by 1 so I can upload additional pics.
Starting with the Dalton SEAL. I can’t find any additional markings, but tried to take plenty of angles and close up pics. Let me know if there is anywhere specifically to look for markings on this one.

Re: Identifying & Pricing My Father’s Collection
Next the Paragon Mini Cobra, I didn’t see this one called out, but my apologies if it missed something. I didn’t include the box the first time. I assume this will help a lot.

Re: Identifying & Pricing My Father’s Collection
I didn’t post this the first time, but I think it’s a Paragon since I have a bunch of none autos just like it that are Paragons. Not expecting this one to be much since I have so many of the none auto version.

Reposting the MicroTech. Mostly just curious if the plastic case or the low numbering (7/2000) adds any value.

Reposting the Buck. Is there any chance it’s factory and not a conversion? Just curious overall. If it is, it would seem like a good one to a novice. Everything works great and seems very sturdy.

Reposting the Top Lock. Again just curious if having the box or any of the info on the box changes any information provided.

Re: Identifying & Pricing My Father’s Collection
Probably should have added the boxes the first time. The protech actually says it’s a godfather. It’s 9.5” long with a 4.5” blade. Does having the paper that came in the box matter?

I know the other Corby was mentioned, but I don’t think I saw this one mentioned.

Re: Identifying & Pricing My Father’s Collection
Just wanted to post the other Corby to see if there was any more info. The blade marking seem to just be a sticky substance that would clean off.
